A staple in a city that has long been (rightly so) associated with world-class barbecue, Huey’s has been serving up “Blues, Brews, & Burgers” since its inception in 1970. Known for their award-winning burgers, live music, and toothpick-littered ceilings, the appeal of Huey’s stretches across generations of Memphians and visitors alike.S2N was thrilled when Huey’s approached us about about refreshing the web design of its established brand. We conducted a deep dive into what makes the Memphis chain so iconic. S2N’s intentional approach of adhering to the iconic elements of the Huey’s brand meant necessary implementation of the Prospector (old man flipping the coin), aforementioned toothpicks, and the mouthwatering burgers. We developed a product that improved site accessibility, optimized content, utilized clean code, linked an online store, and implemented high-resolution photography that did the brand justice. S2N also highlighted Huey’s proud support of dozens of different community organizations, schools, and local charities.
