Since Michael Nunn began S2N Design in 2008, the design firm has continued to grow. First, we outgrew our home in the Emerge Building to our new office on Tennessee Street. And now, we have expanded our core team with the hiring of a Chief Operating Officer, Michael Newsome, and a Creative Director, David Terry. Michael brings more than a decade of leadership, management and sales experience within the banking industry. He now uses his passion for relationship-building, technology and project management to lead the S2N team to success as Chief Operating Officer. Today’s big S2N Design website launch is a redesign that proves simple and streamlined is the way to go, even–and especially–when your website is content heavy. The Southaven Chamber of Commerce’s previous site was cluttered and dated, filled with paragraphs of text that few of their users had the time or inclination to read. It’s a good time to be online. The Internet is prettier, faster, and more user-friendly than ever, thanks in part to the innovation in browsers spawned by the healthy competition amongst browser developers today. While the options are nice, and overall the amount of browsers benefits the user, the number of web browsers in use creates a bit of a challenge for web designers. Complete cross-browser compatibility is a sort of Holy Grail of web design, and as such, it is almost impossible to attain the exact same design across all browsers.
